In case we haven’t met, I’m Scar Sinclair.
Scar’s eyes never once left the ancient walls, scanning her surroundings in pure glee as Annabelle’s question lingered. It was the second time Scar had mustered the courage to enter the Montgomery building. Her first almost resembling a date with a boy she only wished could…
Scar gulped, licking her dry lips as she took a few steps forward. Her grip on the flashlight tightened almost immediately, turning her knuckles snow white. Although she would never admit it, a spark of energy shot threw her body the moment Annabelle asked if we they should talk to it. For some reason, the idea of interacting with whatever inhabited the building frightened the girl, more so than normal. Glancing towards Annabelle, Scar nodded tentatively. “Yeah, yeah I guess we should”
Taking in a deep breath, Scar slowly raised her flashlight towards the direction of the noise, the temperature of the room dropping almost immediately after. Scar could feel a chilled breeze wash over her legs and arms as she tried to remain clam, her arm suddenly shaking. “Hello?” Her voice was stronger than she expected, a bit shaken but loud and assertive. After a moment of silence, Scar stood up a bit straighter, clearing her throat before speaking. “Is there anyone there” Right as she finished her sentence a sudden thump emerged from the ceiling, indicating it came from the room above. Gasping, Scar quickly looked towards Annabelle, her eyes the size of saucers. “Should we..go up there?”

In case we haven’t met, I’m Scar Sinclair.
It was easier than expected for Scar to escape her apartment that evening. With her mother still stuck in the hospital and her father god knows where, the overall mission proved nothing more than simple. Tonight she made plans to meet up with a new friend at the old…
Scar’s eyes never once left the ancient walls, scanning her surroundings in pure glee as Annabelle’s question lingered. It was the second time Scar had mustered the courage to enter the Montgomery building. Her first almost resembling a date with a boy she only wished could be forgotten. Though, as the two both stood there, an eerie silence settling on the atmosphere, Scar quickly broke her gaze and shrugged. Her head tilting to the side as she looked at Annabelle. “I’m not really sure. I’ve been here once and after that experience, the thought never occurred to me” Braking her glance, she scooted closer to the fireplace, her flashlight locked on it’s musty fixtures. “From what I’ve heard, it was supposed to be something of an apartment complex, hotel even.” Her voice lingered, almost in a monotone as she slowly reached to touch a rusty candle holder that rested upon the mantle.
“Whatever it was, it had to be pretty spectacular” Biting her lip, her fingers slowly grazed the metal, merely centimeters away until a sudden bang startled the girls, causing Scar to quickly pull back as her flashlight glowed towards the sound. “What the fuck” No matter how tough and twisted Scar came off to be, something about this place never settled right with her and that alarming miss step only fueled her fears. Looking back at Annabelle, Scar couldn’t help but grin, hopping to shake off her frightened composure. “I think we got ourselves a ghost my friend”
